German live interpreting gone bad... why it pays to hire a translation professional

Right I am not a live interpreter. But there are professionals out there, who are and who should have been hired for this German interpreting job...It certainly would have saved the MJ benefit to become a national laughing stock in German speaking countries!

Yes, it is funny now, but it must have had dire consequences for the man...it would have paid off to hire a professional live interpreter, a certified individual with live TV interpretion skills.

This was broadcast across the nation and has found it's way onto YouTube, where it will never be forgotten. Because the internet does not forget. I know I am adding injury to this dilemma with my blog entry, but when your business is translation based online copy and translations for the web, multilinugal copy for SEO and the likes, something like this will proof a point!

Hilarious: Englisch ist die neue Arbeitssprache in der EU/ English the new business language in the EU

This is not necessarily content related, but I think it is super funny for German as well as English readers.

I am all for: English is the new business language within the EU, but I am also for a language trainer for this particular German politician.
